Major Increase in Criminality of Seniors


Harm Brouwer, a senior official of the Ministry of Justice, has announced that the number of people aged 65 and over which appeared for the first time before a judge, has increased by 57% in the last ten years. The crimes they were accused of varied from shoplifting, cocaine trading, arson, murder and domestic violence. Brouwer wants the issue to be investigated.
