Parliamentarians Criticize Colleague who Called for Intifada

The Parliamentarians Hans van Baalen (Liberal Party) and Joël Voordewind (Christian Union) have criticized their colleague Harry van Bommel, of the extreme left-wing Socialist Party, after he called for an intifada during an anti-Israeli demonstration in Amsterdam. Van Baalen said that whoever calls for violence against Israeli civilians creates disgust and loses his credibility as a parliamentarian. Van Bommel said that his intifada was meant to be non-violent.
