Amsterdam’s Schipol Airport is the most expensive one in Europe. It charges airlines tens of percents more than those of Paris, Brussels and Frankfurt, and three times more expensive than Madrid. In view of the economic crisis, the government has decided to cancel the environmental tax. However, it has demanded that Schiphol reduce its other fees as well.
