Wilders Accuses Prime Minister Rutte of Intimidation

Freedom Party leader Geert Wilders considers a remark by Prime Minister Mark Rutte during failed negotiations to save the government, as intimidating. Rutte said that he wanted to break the Freedom Party until its last seat. Rutte admitted on a TV program that he had said this during a moment of anger. Wilders reacted that such an intimidating remark was unworthy of a Prime Minister. He added that Rutte is destroying the Netherlands with an “irresponsible austerity program for 2013 that will lead to unemployment, reduce purchasing power and economic growth and deliver the Netherlands to the wolves of Brussels."
