Labor party Expels Two Turkish Parliamentarians

The Labor party has expelled two Turkish parliamentarians, Selcuk Ozturk and Tunahan Kuzu, after they expressed strong disagreement with the integration policy of the party. During the party discussion, Ozturk said to the Moroccan Labor parliamentarian Ahmed Marcouch, “May Allah punish you!”  Party leader Diederik Samsom said that the situation was eerie.  He added that “the Labor party is a secular party, and from time to time, one can hear curses. However, this type of deep-felt religious curses I have not yet heard.”
